This update comes with hashtags #discovermoldova and #neampornit pursuing to help owners of Garmin devices to explore with ease the tourist attractions of Moldova! :-)
On one hand, we verified again and updated the major tourist destinations, paying attention to the less known areas as well, and, on the other hand, we included many new locations, so that in the end to have the best coverage, both in terms of level of detail, but also accuracy.
Specifically, 857 new POIs were added, including tourist attractions (+157), shops (+206), health care institutions (+82), police quarters (+110), other state institutions (+51), etc.
Therefore, the total number of POIs has reached a record of 84 thousand, of which about 20 thousand have phone numbers (+330).
The number of settlements having street names has increased by 7, so
that labelled STNW coverage is now in 1092 settlements, which have in
total 27846 labelled streets (+106). Also, there were 318 address points
added in Chisinau.
This is complete update, for all devices, including the version for smart watches, and is offered free of charge to all our customers.
