Moldova Road Atlas

We would like to present you the digital/vector atlas of the Republic of Moldova, having a high-detail level, automatic routing, and an extensive address search database.

Moldova Road Atlas is presented in 3 versions: two in Romanian language (in standard Latin alphabet and the Unicode version with specific Romanian symbols) and the Russian version in Cyrillic alphabet (full translation). Users can choose to install the needed version, and that will not depend on the current menu language setting of the GPS. Height contours (10m interval) and DEM terrain data (1 arc-sec.) are available as well.
Also, there is a special map version (constantly updated) for Garmin Fenix watches and Garmin cycling devices, having map support. Screenshots...

1680 settlements (cities and villages, all have street network drawn), about 47 thousand kilometers of a comprehensive road network (including 1.35 thousand km of major highways M1-M5, 1.9 thousand km of principal highways R1-R37, 3.5 thousand km of other highways G1-G142, 3.3 thousand km of arterial roads, 26.9 thousand km of residential streets, 1.6 thousand km of alleys, and 8.5 thousand km of unpaved roads), 12.1 thousand km of trails, 1.4 thousand km of railways, as well as forest and park areas (4.2 thousand sq. km), waters (0.6 thousand sq. km), orchards and vineyards (2.5 thousand sq. km), about 19 thousand elevation spots and some other elements.

Address search up to the street name is available in 1164 settlements, of which 138 have full address search up to the house numbers (point addressing, including addresses with fractions and with letters). All these 138 settlements have 3D building contours. Also, there are 58 realistic 3D models of important buildings in Chisinau and other locations.

The atlas includes 98.5 thousand points of interest (POIs): hotels, places to eat, shops, pharmacies, hospitals, schools, banks, companies and enterprises, services, gas stations, bus and rail stations, parkings, various tourist attractions, museums, parks, natural reservations, geographical objects, historical and archeological monuments, monasteries/churches, resorts, wineries, as well as state institutions, Customs posts, NGOs and many others. Of these, about 20 thousand contain phone numbers.

Users can search for settlements, including the address search, and also search for POIs.

A detailed statistics of all points of interest, as well as exhaustive information about the level of detail in cities covered, can be found further on...
